Latvian Foster Family Society
In any country, the provision of substitute care for children will inevitably reflect the prevailing economic, social and political situation. The reasons why children become separated from their parents change but commonly arise from the economic and social forces affecting families. Perceptions of the causes, responsibilities and remedies for those difficulties, however, are more likely to be shaped by political and religious ideologies.
Latvian Foster Family Society is founded to deal with this issue.
